English 10/American HistoryEnglish 10 is a two-semester course designed to develop creativity, communication, writing, and critical thinking skills. It provides students with a survey of literature, including novels, short stories, drama, and poetry. Students also build vocabulary skills through weekly vocabulary practice, independent reading, and researching activities.

AP Literature & CompositionThis course is one semester offered in even years. It is dedicated to the theme of choices and consequences whereby students connect the difficult choices they make with literature and writing detailing the same theme. In addition to studying a variety of literature and writing genres, students will investigate their own reading choices and build their vocabulary through weekly vocabulary practice. This course is designed for students preparing for two or four-year post high school training.
